Party Etiquette

• Try and reply to party invitations promptly even if you are unable to attend.
• If you are planning to take siblings with you, advise the host in advance.
• Remember to advise the host of any food allergies your child may have.
• If it's a fancy dress party, do dress up your child so they don't feel left out.
• Remind your child to say thank you when you leave.
• If you are not staying at the party, do return to collect your child on time.

• Make sure you welcome the children to the party and remind your child to say thank you for gifts and cards.
• Put the presents to one side on the 'Gift Table'. Once all your guests have left your child can take their time opening up their presents.
• Remember to make a note of who brought what present so you can send out thank you notes.
